TORONTO, April 7 /CNW/ - The Framework Foundation, an organization that promotes volunteerism among young Canadians, today announced the second annual Timeraiser, a silent auction that offers Canadians aged 22-35 years the opportunity to bid volunteer hours instead of dollars for original pieces of art by top Canadian artists. Upon completing their volunteer hours, participants bring the artwork home as a reminder of their goodwill.
Through the initiative, Framework plans to raise more than 10,000 volunteer hours for 40 Toronto-area charitable organizations, including Evergreen, Meal Exchange and Special Olympics Ontario. The Timeraiser also provides welcome support to the Toronto arts community, as all artwork is purchased, not donated."
