Miami Children's Hospital Becomes Nicklaus Children's Hospital : Page 1 of 2 : FundRaising Success: "Press release, March 19, 2015) — Originally founded as Variety Children's Hospital in 1950, Miami Children's Hospital unveiled a logo featuring its new Nicklaus Children's Hospital name, during a press conference with golf icon Jack Nicklaus and his wife Barbara. The new name is effective March 20, on the hospital's 65th anniversary. In addition, the hospital's eight outpatient centers will also assume the Nicklaus name."

IU Philanthropy Alumnus Joins White House Staff - Newsroom - Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick: "INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Dave Wilkinson, a former Jane Addams Fellow at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, has been named Director of the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation.

Under Wilkinson's leadership the Office will be focused on strengthening communities and enabling upward economic mobility by finding and growing approaches that work best for communities in need, according to a White House announcement of the appointment. This involves identifying programs that work better through use of data and evidence as well as scaling what works through smarter use of federal resources and public-private partnerships."
