Oxfam and The Daily Mirror have won a prestigious award from the One World Media Trust for their 'Village of Hope' series, beating top quality competition from the Sunday Times' Authors in the Frontline series and the Guardian's Hear Africa, in a award ceremony in London on 8 June. The judges acknowledged the series of articles and photojournalism to be outstanding and commended the use of compelling personal stories to influence change."
