INDIANAPOLIS, –Aug. 25, 2005 — The SBC Foundation, the philanthropic arm of SBC Communications Inc., and the Center on Congress at Indiana University today jointly announced the creation of a new Web site to help diverse communities learn about the United States Congress, the nation’s legislative body. The Center will use a $92,625 SBC Foundation grant to create a Spanish-language Web-based learning program on the history, responsibilities and importance of Congress."
