LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 19, 2004--More than 70 metro Louisville nonprofit organizations plan to attend a free, community wide, nonprofit workshop that Alcoa will host November 22, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Memorial auditorium, 970 South 4th Street, Louisville.

Led by Alcoa Foundation, this workshop will focus on business and community partnerships. It also will provide national level expertise that nonprofits can use on ways to assess their strengths and weaknesses as community service organizations.
The agenda will include a keynote address from Kathleen W. Buechel, president and treasurer of Alcoa Foundation, on 'Changing Trends in Corporate Philanthropy: Moving Beyond Money.' She will discuss innovations in the field of corporate philanthropy that lead to creative partnerships and meaningful two-way exchanges. "
